Free Ice Cream
Shot on a Canon EOS Rebel T8i
Free Ice Cream was Assignment 1 for IAT 202, to create a 30-60s film. The main objective of the film was to refamiliarise with the production process of short films.
Pre-Production
I can confidently say that my drawing skills have improved since this was made.
Post-Production
A few days after production, I did a reshoot to fix a few shots. However, there were issues: The weather changed, I brought a different lens, and the white balance/colour profile was changed.
After some time playing with settings, I was able to create a more consistent colour balance across the film. I increased the saturation of the first shoot, and lowered the saturation of the second shoot. Making a consistent hue for the grass was the most important aspect that affected continuity.
